No it's not Monday night and Hank Williams Jr. isn't singing his normal song, but I'm ready for some baseball, specifically the World Series. Every year it's the same thing with sports fans; we're all excited about baseball once the MLB season begins because there's hope for our teams and not much else is going on and by the time the season drags out and the playoffs come then we're a little tired of it. Well it's time to wake up. So none of the series thus far have been that great. It doesn't matter. Once the Yankees win tonight, which they will, then we'll get to see a great Northeast battle of defending MLB champions, The Philadelphia Phillies, play the New York Yankees. Let's remember the Yankees haven't been to the series in awhile. There's going to be lots of drama and the stadiums are going to be going crazy. We got two ex-Cleveland Indian aces competing against each other in C.C. Sabathia and Cliff Lee and I don't think there's anyone who is playing better than Alex Rodriguez right now. After all the negative comments about baseball and the weather, and the umpires, and the game is too long, and everything else that fans of the game, who will never be fans of the game want to dwell on, we will finally see what seems like takes forever to get here each year; the World Series. I know everyone only cares about football at this time of year, but if you really want to enjoy the game of baseball than this is the time to do it. Give it a try. It's still better than soccer.
