Jags BlackoutMaybe you did this week since the Jags are playing in Seattle, but next week they're back at home and you better be ready for their third straight blackout.  The Jaguars are not even getting close to selling their games out.  Their home opener failed to sell 17,000 seats.  The NFL should put in a stipulation to every team that if you fail to sellout half your games during the season then your team will be moved.  Jacksonville isn't going to sell out any of their games this season unless they really make a playoff push.  Next week they play the Rams and I don't think people are running to come see that game.  People may want to blast the blackout rules saying they are unfair, but if you can't sell your tickets to your games then you can't sell advertising for the games and you can't play the game on television without advertisements.  We also need to stop blaming the economy because everyone is going through the same economic ups and downs and every other market doesn't seem to have the problems that Jacksonville does.  The biggest problem is that the franchise in in Jacksonville.  Was it really the best idea to throw a professional football franchise in Jacksonville, Florida?  I think it's the NFL's fault due to the fact that they made the dumb decision to have a franchise there.  If you are going to have an expansion team then why would you put it in a city that doesn't have any other professional sport?  We know what cities are sports cities and others that aren't.  So I say we move the team.  Let it go to someone who will actually want to go see them.  I know there are plenty of other cities who would love to see an NFL team come in so if Jacksonville doesn't want to support their team then screw them and move the Jags elsewhere.

I would like to educate you on the Jaguars and their "status" as far as the national media see us. For the home opener, we had over 48k in attendance, not something to write home about but far from 17k seats. Yes it was ridiculous that the Jags didn't bother to show up in Seattle, but historically the Jags flop when traveling to the Washington. We have a team full of rookies and first year assistants and coaches. I ask you to take some time in reading about the facts about the Jaguars, which includes a little known stat they dont tell you on ESPN; the fact that the Jags have ranked 19th out of all NFL teams as far as attendance AHEAD of teams like likes Pittsburgh, Dallas, Chicago and Tampa Bay. And we are the most successful franchise during a teams first 15 years that the NFL has ever seen.

i dont understand why people continue to say that we dont love our team.read the stats that were stated above.everyones not going through what we are.we moved to the top for forclosures.mr.weaver knows how we feel about them thats why he's so dedicated in staying.we're still a growing city with a lot of fans just hit very hard with a big stadium.it wont be like this always.he also stated that as long as he had the team they wont move.we have some improving to do but when you have detroit, minn, chargers, even the jets were in danger of a blackout you see know one is immune.so we will work it out and look for another team because this city would die before they let the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS LEAVE.THAT YOU CAN TAKE TO THE BANK.Well maybe not now but you know whats i mean....
